Wichita Pug Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing pugs and pug mixes from shelters, owner surrenders, and neglectful situations. We provide medical care, rehabilitation, and loving foster homes while we find each dog their perfect forever family. Every pug deserves a second chance.
Our Adoption Rules
We have a few firm rules to ensure every pug goes to the right home. Please read these carefully before applying.
Vet records required
You must have kept past pets up to date on all vaccines — rabies and distemper/parvo at minimum. No exceptions. We will contact your veterinarian to verify.
24-hour response window
Once approved by email, you have 24 hours to respond or your approval will be cancelled. We do not save dogs verbally — approval requires a completed application.
Microchip included
All of our adoptable pugs are microchipped before going to their new home. Microchip information must be transferred to the new owner within 30 days of adoption.
Full medical records provided
Every dog comes with complete medical records so you know exactly what care they have received and what to expect going forward.
